Get Just the Advice You Need

I offer expert breastfeeding advice for groups and you can pump with confidence and ease.

Learn about the services I offer.

Going back to work after maternity leave is stressful enough. Throw breastfeeding, pumping, and childcare into the mix and it can feel almost impossible. If you're getting ready to return to work, or if you've already returned and things aren't going as planned - this is for you.

Here's what you'll get (exact topics will be based on your individual needs):

  • Develop a successful plan to continue breastfeeding while returning to work.

  • Create an ideal schedule that works around your current work obligations, responsibilities, and potential challenges (such as a teaching schedule).

  • Discuss available accessories and gear (like Freemies and battery packs).  Learn about the must-haves that make pumping on-the-go easier and less disruptive to your work life.

  • Create a plan for safely cleaning and storing your pump parts throughout the day, as well as storing your milk.

  • Gain a full understanding of your rights as a breastfeeding mother under both Federal and State guidelines.

  • Get tips and strategies for discussing your pumping needs with your employer.

  • Get tips and strategies for talking to your child-care provider about the differences between a breast milk and formula fed baby (ie: paced feeding, storage guidelines, and avoiding over-feeding).

  • Includes:

  • Follow-up support via email/text for two weeks following your consultation or two weeks following your first day back at work.

  • Written care-plan summarizing our conversation and your personalized strategy.

  • Summary of your rights as a pumping mom at work for your particular state

  • A guide for talking to your child-care provider

“Sandy was very knowledge on this important topic. I really enjoyed the session and left with more confidence on moving forward with pumping once I go back to work.”

Meet Sandy

As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and a Postpartum Doula, Sandy uses her personal experience and professional expertise to help moms all over the world have successful and positive pumping experiences.

Sandy was inspired to do this work after exclusively pumping for her son. She was surprised by how difficult it was to find a lactation professional who had a deep understanding of the particular needs of pumping moms. Sandy's goal is to fill that gap and ensure that all breastfeeding moms have positive experiences and find the support they need.
